The ideal candidate will have hands on expertise with selenium based automation modern frameworks QE lifecycle leadership and managing complex testing initiatives across multiple concurrent projects. This role requires strong client facing capabilities technical leadership and end to end testing oversight including functional integration and E2E validation.Key Responsibilities:
Quality Engineering Test Leadership:
Lead the entire functional and automation testing lifecycle from planning through execution reporting and closure
Coordinate and manage integration testing with developers as code becomes available critical for time sensitive project stages
Oversee and orchestrate end to end E2E testing activities across multiple systems and interfacing applications
Execute and manage functional testing ensuring full coverage of requirements and business workflows
Collate analyze and interpret test results provide concise actionable insights to Engineering and Product teamsAutomation Strategy Execution:
Identify automation opportunities across the Banking Payments application landscape web UI APIs services and integrations
Evaluate automation tool compatibility recommend suitable solutions and contribute to the future automation roadmap
Lead the design development and maintenance of scalable automation frameworks
Oversee integration of automation suites with CICD pipelines Jenkins Git
Ensure alignment to DevOps practices and continuous testing principlesProject Stakeholder Management:
Work directly with customers and business partners on a day to day basis managing expectations and providing status updates
Plan estimate and manage testing schedules across multiple concurrent projects
Collaborate with cross functional teams Engineering Product Business and external partnersAgile Delivery:
Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and ensure continuous collaboration within Scrum teams
Contribute to sprint planning backlog refinement and quality risk assessmentsTechnical Skills Required:
Automation Tools Frameworks:
Selenium with Java
ROBOT Framework
Cypress
Framework design development experienceDevOps CICD:
Jenkins pipeline integration
Git version control
Strong understanding of DevOps conceptsTest Management Tools:
HP ALM
JiraGeneral Skills:
Excellent communication and analytical skills
Strong knowledge of test planning estimation and testing concepts
Proven experience in Agile environmentsPreferred Qualifications:
Experience leading QA/QE teams or workstreams 7 - 10 years QE/QA Lead experience
Strong domain expertise in Banking Payments including credit client cards
Knowledge of interfacing systems such as SRF DDACOLT Fraud 5Q etc
Mainframe testing experience is a significant advantage
Experience managing large multi phased testing programsSoft Skills:
Strong leadership organization and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage multiple parallel projects
Problem solving mindset with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and lead teams in fast paced environmentsThe base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 70,000 - 80,000.Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws.
