Our client is actively seeking an experienced and adaptable Accountant to join their small team. Primary Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records, and complete month-end/year-end processes and reporting.
Prepare annual budget and longer term planning/forecasts.
Oversee a team of multi-functional direct reports; delegate, review and approve their work and performance.
Prepare financial reports and packages for senior leadership.
Participate in internal and external audits.
Contribute to the improvement of financial processes, and be part of an upcoming ERP upgrade.
Oversee and work closely with IT to evaluate systems, software, and workflow, and implement process improvements.

Qualifications and Experience:

5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, ideally from a small to mid-sized organization
CPA Required
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
Proficiency with ERP systems and accounting software required
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required
High level of organization and detail orientation
Strong communication skills
Highly adaptable and able to juggle multiple priorities
