- Lead the development and execution of talent acquisition strategies aligned with workforce planning and business objectives.
- Contribute to the annual HR plan and ensure recruitment practices remain competitive and forward-thinking.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement across talent acquisition programs, policies, processes, and tools.
- Partner with People Analytics and Workforce Planning teams to assess labour market trends and inform strategic talent decisions, including buy, build, or borrow approaches.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of talent acquisition professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Oversee day-to-day recruitment operations, effectively managing workloads, priorities, and optimizing team performance.
- Deliver a best in class, inclusive hiring experience for candidates, hiring managers, and HR partners.
- Lead Director-level recruitment, including candidate assessment and interview processes.
- Act as a trusted advisor to HR Business Partners and senior leaders, building strong relationships and influencing talent decisions.
- Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to align talent acquisition strategies with broader organizational priorities.
- Strengthen employer branding and employee value proposition to position the organization as an employer of choice.
- Leverage recruitment metrics, performance dashboards, and key hiring indicators to monitor outcomes and continuously improve hiring quality and effectiveness.
- Develop and monitor performance dashboards and key hiring metrics.
- Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field or a combination of education and experience or a combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in talent acquisition, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong expertise in recruitment strategies, workforce planning, and labour market trends.
- Experience with e-recruitment tools and diverse interview techniques (including behavioural interviewing).
- Proven ability to develop and use recruitment metrics and performance dashboards.
- Strong understanding of HR policies, employment legislation, and industry best practices.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills in both official languages (French and English), with experience engaging senior leaders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities.
