- Develop and customize financial templates and reports using NetSuite and other systems to support organizational goals.
- Examine budget and forecast variances, providing detailed commentary on salaries, benefits, and headcount.
- Address and resolve issues related to monthly salary and benefits results, collaborating with finance teams and department leaders.
- Spearhead the annual budgeting process for compensation-related items, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Support internal and external audit processes by preparing necessary documentation and data.
- Participate in month-end payroll accruals and reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Lead initiatives to enhance payroll analysis processes, implementing improvements to boost efficiency and accuracy.
- Manage special projects and fulfill ad-hoc financial requests as they arise.
- Utilize advanced data mining techniques and tools to provide in-depth financial analyses and insights.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on compensation analysis and complex financial modeling, including annual reviews.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) designation or actively pursuing certification.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, ideally within a large international firm.
- Proficiency in NetSuite and other financial systems, with expertise in budgeting and forecasting.
- Advanced skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power Query.
- Strong interpersonal abilities, capable of fostering relationships across departments.
- Self-motivated individual with a proven capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated resilience, problem-solving skills, and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
