- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for positioning technologies including GNSS systems, machine automation solutions, robotic instruments, and related software platforms.
- Deliver customer training and product demonstrations to ensure users understand best practices and maximize system capabilities.
- Support the sales team during pre-sale and post-sale engagements, assisting with technical evaluations, system setup, and workflow optimization.
- Assist with the testing and evaluation of new products, technologies, and software updates prior to release to customers.
- Develop and refine application workflows and strategies to improve customer productivity and operational efficiency.
- Work directly with customers in the field to diagnose issues, implement solutions, and ensure successful deployment of positioning systems.
- Provide feedback to product management and leadership teams regarding product performance, customer needs, and potential improvements.
- Assist in the development of training materials, technical documentation, and best practice guides.
- Maintain current knowledge of emerging technologies, industry trends, and new positioning solutions.
- Working knowledge and familiarity with:
- Machine automation systems
- GNSS positioning technology
- Robotic and conventional survey instruments
- Understanding of survey field and office software workflows.
- Strong aptitude for technology and problem-solving.
- Ability to diagnose technical issues and implement practical solutions.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills for training and client engagement.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Valid driver’s license with a recent driver’s abstract
- Ability to work in field environments including construction and surveying sites
- Must be fluent in both English and French (bilingual)
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant industry experience in construction, land surveying, engineering, or a related technical field
- Experience working with surveying equipment, positioning technology, or machine control systems.
- Knowledge of Brandt product lines and heavy equipment is considered a strong asset
- Preference will be given to candidates with a diploma or degree in:
- Geomatics Engineering Technology
- Civil Engineering Technology
- Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology or a related technical discipline
