Primary Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy ABAP programs, reports, forms, interfaces, and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain SAP enhancements (user exits, BAdIs, enhancements framework, etc.).
  • Create and modify SAP scripts, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, and ALV reports.
  • Integrate SAP systems with third-party applications using IDocs, RFC, BAPI, and Web Services.
  • Develop and maintain RAP-based applications in SAP S/4HANA, leveraging CDS views, OData services, and transactional behavior.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in the SAP environment.
  • Conduct performance tuning for ABAP programs and optimize code for better performance.
  • Adhere to SAP best practices and coding standards while developing custom solutions.
  • Provide technical support during project implementation and post-go-live.
  • Maintain technical documentation for all development activities.
Required Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience as an SAP ABAP Developer.
  • Strong understanding of SAP modules like SD, MM, FI/CO, PP (customize based on your project requirements).
  • Proficiency in ABAP programming, including Object-Oriented ABAP.
  • Experience with SAP enhancement techniques like BAdIs, User Exits, and Enhancement Points.
  • Strong understanding of Restful ABAP Programming Model (RAP) concepts, including behavior definitions, CDS views, and metadata extensions.
  • Familiarity with tools like Debugger, Eclipse-based ABAP Development Tools (ADT), and Transport Management System (TMS).
  • Knowledge of SAP Fiori, OData services, and UI5 development.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
