- Coordinating with the Systems Support team to properly set up MaterialManager® (MatMan), or an alternate approved system, and making the system available to the project prior to the identification of any material requirements.
- Coordinating with Project Manager to develop and maintain project Execution Responsibility Matrix (ERM) in the Organizer tool or the ERM Standard Manual Template.
- Developing and implementing the project’s Material Planning plan.
- Working with Engineering Material Control and Project Controls to ensure that WBS and Construction Work Package (CWP) data is uploaded into MatMan through the interface with the Administrator tool.
- Interacting with Engineering and Material Control to verify proper assignments of all equipment and material to their respective WBS/CWP.
- Working with Engineering Material Control in support of their generation of purchase requisitions, validating their content, and supporting their release to Purchasing.
- Setting up and utilizing the Material Planning module within MatMan.
- Reviewing and approving planning scenarios to verify accurate allocation of material and alignment with the Project Execution Plan and ERM.
- Providing the project accurate allocation and scenario reporting to strategize enhancements to material availability and providing solutions to material shortages or receipts projected to be after RAS.
- Coordinating with Material Control, Field Material Management, and Engineering to address surplus materials
- Other duties as assigned
- Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and twelve (12) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to sixteen (16) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
- Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
- Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

- Accredited degree or global equivalent
- Applicable professional certification(s) or license(s)
- Experience should be primarily in the area of material management and planning
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent computer literacy and skills
- Excellent leadership and decision-making skills
- Experience working within EPC project and/or within Mining Projects
