Job Category: Innovation and TechnologyJob Description:The OpportunityShape the future of digital design and infrastructure delivery.As a Civil 3D Specialist, you will elevate the quality, stability, and efficiency of our digital engineering workflows, empowering multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex infrastructure projects with confidence. You'll play a critical role in ensuring model accuracy, enhancing collaboration, and advancing WSP's technical excellence across Canada.Your Impact
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex Civil 3D issues, including object instabilities, performance degradation, sheet production challenges, and data corruption.
  • Diagnose and correct multi-user and collaboration challenges within ProjectWise - Civil 3D managed environments.
  • Govern and optimize Data Shortcuts (DRef), including folder structures, naming conventions, and best practices that keep project data organized and stable.
  • Maintain, enhance, and guide the use of Civil 3D standards-templates (DWT), styles, label sets, palettes, and subassemblies-to support consistent, high-quality delivery.
  • Document, refine, and champion batch processes and tools to reduce repetitive tasks and streamline production.
  • Provide targeted training and create user-friendly how-to guides and documentation to raise proficiency across project teams.
  • Support innovation by contributing to the development of automation tools using Dynamo, AutoLISP, or similar scripting approaches (preferred).
The Skills That Set You Apart
  • 5+ years of hands-on Autodesk Civil 3D experience across production environments.
  • Strong expertise in data management, collaboration workflows, and complex Civil 3D data structures.
  • Deep knowledge of Civil 3D DRef creation, troubleshooting, and governance, ensuring dependable data flow on major projects.
  • Advanced understanding of ProjectWise + Civil 3D integration, including workspace configuration and managed workflows.
  • Proficiency in templates, styles, sheet production, and multi-disciplinary collaboration environments.
  • Experience with automation tools (Dynamo, AutoLISP, .NET) and infrastructure sectors such as rail/transit, roadways, utilities, or municipal environments (preferred)
Compensation:
  • AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $89,800 - $118,900
  • MB & ON: $81,900 - $112,800
  • NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $77,400 - $102,500
