Summary:Reporting to the Director Sales Operations (DSO) and supporting Med-Eng Business Development Directors, Territory Managers and Channel Partners, the Sales Coordinator provides a key link between our customers and the Med-Eng Team. The Sales Coordinator is responsible for creating all customer quotations and order generation, as well as assisting Business Development Directors and customers with product information, and product support requests. The Sales Coordinator utilizes ERP and CRM systems to maintain accurate customer records.Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Provide first level of support on all customer requests for product information and pricing.
  • Generation of accurate sales quotations.
  • Support or lead bid responses in-conjunction with DSO and BD Director.
  • Timely submission of customer orders into ERP system.
  • Submit requests for Letters of Representation (LOR’s) which may also include preparing necessary documentation package for embassy and Global Affairs notarization.
  • Responsible for the submission and monitoring of Non-Standard Customer Requests (NSCR) including price discounts.
  • Ensure proper procedures are followed for sales involving high-risk countries.
  • Participate in opportunity review meetings.
  • Work with BD Director and partners to ensure the sales funnel accurately reflects open opportunities.
  • Provides input to identify opportunities for improvement or problem resolutions in customer relations.
  • Address and escalate concerns and issues received from customers.
  • May recommend and participate in policy and process improvements.
  • Interface / liaise with Product Line Managers to obtain technical info as required for partners.
  • Provide administrative support to DSO and assigned BD Director.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a customer facing sales and/or service role.
  • International sales experience preferred.
  • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively and work closely with numerous departments and stakeholders and all levels of management.
  • Ability to provide a highly organized and detailed oriented work product.
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritize tight deadlines.
  • Able to function efficiently in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to solve problems requiring independent thinking.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong Microsoft Office and Microsoft Dynamics (CRM) skills.
  • Formal experience in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or other discipline associated with International Commerce would be an asset.
  • Bilingualism would be an asset.
