Salary & Benefits: $60,000-$65,000 plus milage, tool allowance, 2 weeks vacation

Location: Mobile across the city of Ottawa
Additional Notes:
Our client is seeking a property Maintenance Service Technician to perform maintenance at various commercial and residential properties in different city areas. This position requires a maintenance technician to travel to multiple properties and be on-call to service after-hour emergency maintenance when necessary.Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance and repairs across multiple residential and commercial properties.
  • Handle painting, drywall repairs, and flooring installations.
  • Perform light HVAC troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Conduct electrical and lock installations or repairs.
  • Manage minor plumbing and carpentry tasks.
  • Install and maintain appliances.
  • Maintain inventory and supply levels for maintenance work.
  • Respond to emergency and after-hours maintenance calls as needed.
  • Ensure safety and functionality of all properties while maintaining professional tenant interactions.
  • Support unit turnover work for residential and commercial properties.
Qualifications:
  • Secondary diploma and post-secondary/skilled trade or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience across multiple trades.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with water, lighting, HVAC, and other building systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Conflict resolution skills and professional tenant interaction experience.
  • Reliable, independent, and safety-conscious.
  • Must have a valid drives license
