Operations Manager, Tubular

• Ensures compliance with all health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures and regulations.
• Oversees the manufacturing process of tubular products from raw material intake to finished goods shipment.
• Ensures production schedules are met while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
• Identifies opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
• Implements best practices to streamline operations and reduce production costs.
• Implements quality control measures to ensure that all tubular products meet specifications and customer expectations.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to uphold quality standards.
• Collaborates with the Procurement and Logistics teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and efficient distribution of finished products.
• Develop and manage budgets for manufacturing operations.
• Monitors expenditures and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising safety or quality.
• Prepares regular reports on production metrics, efficiency, and quality performance.
• Analyzes data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Performs other duties, as required.

• Bachelor’s degree or technical degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field is considered an asset; combination of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of experience in an operations leadership role.
• 3+ years of management experience in a unionized environment.
• Excellent understanding of production processes, quality control, continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.
• Demonstrated Leadership experience driving employee engagement strategies and developing a proactive and positive culture.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with Oracle EAM considered an asset
• Demonstrated safety mindset.
• Proven history of building and maintaining positive, respectful relationships at all levels across the Company and with stakeholders.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including an ability to communicate effectively with all levels in the organization.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced work environment, work under pressure and switch gears quickly between projects and deadlines.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Superior attention to detail with an eye for accuracy.
