Collaborate with experienced Desktop Support and IT staff across Canada. Work with peers on strategic IT initiatives that improve tools, processes, and end user experience. Support a wide range of IT issues in a challenging environment that values strong troubleshooting skills and practical problem solving.Your Key ResponsibilitiesProvide excellent, customer focused support with professionalism and follow-through.Configure and reconfigure hardware, including workstations and printers.Analyze and resolve end user hardware, software, and connectivity issues, including more complex technical problems.Coordinate with office staff and IT teams during scheduled hardware refresh activities.Create and maintain accurate, consistent records for all support requests.Monitor progress on issue resolution and keep users informed of status and next steps.Maintain current knowledge of supported technologies and support policies to deliver accurate, effective solutions for internal clients.Your Capabilities and CredentialsProven competence in a Microsoft Windows environment, including Windows 11, Microsoft Office 365, and Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).Strong knowledge of PC hardware with hands on experience setting up, configuring, and rebuilding workstations.Demonstrated troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve more complex technical issues independently.Experience with ServiceNow and engineering design applications is a plus.Experience working in an ITIL based and SOX compliant organization is a plus.Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.Minimum of three days per week working on site.Must be able to move, carry, and manipulate equipment up to 50 pounds.Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record is required.Education and ExperienceMinimum of 2 years of experience. Technical degree/diploma/certificate in related discipline is required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Classroom training and or experience with SCCM will be considered an asset.Microsoft Certification in Windows, and/or COMPTIA certification in Hardware will be considered an asset.Position will primarily work in an office setting.   • Locations in Lower Mainland - BC, GTA & Ottawa Ontario-$58,200.00 - $81,500.00 Annually
Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
