- Monitor key business metrics, identify trends, and define new KPIs where gaps exist
- Perform root cause analysis on business challenges and propose actionable solutions
- Deliver strategic insights across pricing, logistics, and demand — communicating findings clearly to stakeholders at all levels
- Build and maintain demand forecasting and price elasticity models
- Analyze shipping and logistics cost data to surface trends, anomalies, and optimization opportunities
- Conduct competitive pricing analysis to identify market positioning and margin opportunities
- Support model performance through testing, validation, and troubleshooting to keep outputs reliable and production-ready
- Design and maintain Power BI dashboards for pricing, logistics, and commercial KPIs
- Write SQL queries and parse complex stored procedures to understand and interrogate our pricing systems
- Identify repetitive tasks and automate them — if you do something twice, you build a solution
- Leverage AI tools (including Claude) to scale analytical output, applying sound judgement to validate results
- Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of experience for each of the following in a setting: Power BI, Python, and SQL
- Grounding in statistical modelling — regression, forecasting, elasticity — academic or professional
- Familiarity with using AI tools to accelerate and validate analytical work
- A systems thinker — you can model a process mentally, spot weaknesses, and propose fixes
- Automation-minded — you look for ways to eliminate repetitive work
- A clear communicator who can translate data into decisions for non-technical audiences
- Background in e-commerce, retail, or logistics
- Exposure to pricing strategy or revenue management
- Experience with version control systems such as Git

The expected salary range for this role is between $65,000 to $75,000 depending on various factors including experience, skills, training and certifications, market demands, and organizational needs.
