- Support account representatives and prospective clients with all Pre-Production, Production and Post-Production requirements.
- Meet, present, and sell production concepts with prospective clients and account representatives as needed.
- Provide achievable creative concepts and establish processes to develop, write, produce, and direct the production of various creative types to meet client needs for both short and long form broadcast material.
- Multitask, formulate, develop, implement, and complete creative projects on tight timelines.
- Balance creative concepts with designated budget and resource restrictions.
- Understand industry rate cards and the quoting process with an eye and confidence to increasing production revenue when possible.
- Provide prospective clients with written quotes, workback schedules, story boards, pre-production booklets and overall pre-planning as required.
- Complete monthly invoices, summaries and reports as required.
- Have exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Have an exceptional knowledge of the production process including but not limited to well-honed creative writing skills, production processes/planning, casting, familiarity with HD and SD formats, directing EFP and Studio shoots, familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro Editing, animation, motion graphics, directing voice over talent, sound design etc.
- Possess at least five years of demonstrated success as a Commercial Writer/Producer in television commercial production, collaborating directly with clients and the Sales team.
- Have a minimum of 5 years of proven success in television commercial production, working directly with clients and a Sales team.
- Have post-secondary education in television broadcasting or equivalent.
- Be professional and collaborative with excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Have proven success developing client relationships.
- Have a general understanding of project accounting and budgeting.
- Be able to work seven days a week and will be flexible about working longer than an 8-hour day or over weekends, depending on the client’s production needs.
- Have a willingness to learn new equipment and software programs for production.
- Be able to travel when required.
- Have a valid driver’s license.
