WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?ACML is actively seeking an Licensed HVAC Technician located in Vancouver, BC whose main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Complies with all relevant HVAC standards and codes;
  • Performs basic inspections on HVAC systems and logs results;
  • Operates, maintains, services, repairs, installs, and replaces HVAC equipment, components, and parts across all client sites;
  • Assists with scheduling and supervising of HVAC subcontractors;
  • Executes the HVAC preventative maintenance program including all drive belt and filter changes as well as other scheduled checks and cleanings;
  • Operates DDC software, monitors and adjusts as needed and follows up on alerts and alarms;
  • Leads and provides direction to Building Operators, delegate tasks and ensure understanding of HVAC related procedures;
  • Attends After Hours HVAC emergencies and planned shut downs/start ups;
  • Travels and works at all client sites
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
WHAT WILL YOU BRING?
  • At least 5 years minimum experience as a Journeyperson directly related to the operation and maintenance of building systems
  • Red Seal certification in BC;
  • Shall have a valid BC driver’s license.
