Location: Toronto, ON (Onsite)Responsibilities:
Works in partnership with clients, advising them on information technology in order to meet their business objectives or overcome problems, work to improve structure and efficiency of an organization's I&IT systems.
The I&IT Consultant may be used to provide strategic guidance to organizations with regard to Information Management & IT technology, IT infrastructures and the enablement of major business processes through enhancements to IT.
Provides subject matter expertise in their field and highly expert technical assistance.General Skills:
Acts as the technical advisor/expert on all aspects of a specific deliverable
Provide the quality assurance/quality control of specific deliverables
Anticipates and resolves problems to ensure that the deliverables are completed within budget, to the highest quality, meeting or exceeding expectations
Develops processes and procedures for implementing deliverables
Prepares reports and presentations including options, recommendations, implementation plans, etc.
Works with clients to define the scope of a project and to determine requirements
Defines software, hardware and network requirements
Analyzes I&IT requirements giving independent and objective advice on the use of I&IT
Designs, tests, installs and monitors new systems and develops solutions and implementation of new systems
Familiar with change-management principles and methodology
Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies and practicesTechnical Knowledge and experience - 50%
1. Hands-on experience in multiple large scale Oracle data masking and sub setting projects to mask copes of Production data.
2. Hand-on experience with Oracle Data masking and sub setting pack using OEM.
3. Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for Oracle databases.
4. Expert level knowledge in best practices for implementing data masking in enterprise environments.
5. Deep understanding of Oracle Database 19c, including its architecture, features, and performance optimization on Exadata platforms.
6. Experience in Oracle Exadata, EBS, Weblogic, ASM/RAC, Siebel is an asset
7. Understanding of audit requirements and how data masking can address specific audit findings related to data privacy and security.Methodology, testing, and troubleshooting - 30%
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Experience working in agile development environment
- Ability to provide user and system documentation as required
- Contribute to the effective management of risks and issues associated with Solution designs
- Collaborate with cross-functional and distributed teams, including designers, developers, architects, project managers, and QA
- Promotes industry standards and best practices with the product teams.
- Perform thorough code reviews including unit tests and ensure high quality of the software.
- Fix defects and support developers, testers and end users
Planning, documentation, and communication - 20%
- Prepare work plans with CYSSC Managers, report and adjust completion status, report issues and risks in a timely manner
- Write technical documentation that supports and thoroughly explains the architecture
- Deliver knowledge transfer sessions to the team on the work completedMust-have skills:
