- Achievement of the sales and gross profit goals by executing the Market Plan.
- Develop and execute detailed account development plan for their individual Top 10 Target Contractor accounts, engaging business owners and key executive to ensure senior level alignment.
- Assists in the development of territory-wide strategies and tactics to drive growth across builders, plumbers, heating contractors, distributors, and other industry stakeholders.
- Prepares and submits required reports and expense reports in a timely and accurate manner.
- Manages project pipeline in SFDC to ensure accurate visibility, forecasting, and reporting of sales opportunities. Keep accounts updated, log regular face to face meetings with target account and share account development progress.
- Completes demand forecasting requirements and monitors market indicators such as housing starts, new developments, and code changes to inform planning.
- Works closely with National Accounts Team to leverage national relationships while ensuring local alignment and execution of corporate initiatives.
- Maintains and builds a strong company presence and brand awareness across the entire sales territory
- Provides guidance and recommendations to management when technical or product related challenges arise.
- Conducts product and value proposition training to drive awareness and adoption across customers and partners.
- Plans, coordinates, and supports field training programs for distributors, contractors, builders, architects, and engineers in collaboration with sales management, field technicians, and the training department.
- Participates in local, regional, and national trade shows to promote products, strengthen relationships, and enhance market presence.
- Conducts training to drive awareness of Uponor’s value proposition
- Manage budget related to travel and entertainment, product giveaways, co-op funds, and other marketing initiatives.
- Responds promptly to requests for product and marketing information.
- Manages RMA issues within the territory, taking ownership through resolution.
- This position prefers a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 5-7 years’ related experience.
- Knowledge of major account selling, and the construction market is required.
- Must have excellent communication, planning and presentation skills.
- Experience in PHCP industry preferred
- Installation experience is a plus.
