We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a "can do" attitude and the desire to learn and grow with the company.The Key Focus of the role is the coordination of all marine operations, agency, and administrative functions associated with individual vessel calls to assigned port of operations.Key ResponsibilitiesBoard vessels in port dailyAssist with vessel rotation – ordering of Pilots / tugs / linesmen / other requirements for docking or undocking a vesselAssist with billing proceduresAssist with follow-up and completion of requestsRespond to all principal/customer inquiries in line with Corporate Operations Manual Policies or Principal Governing Working InstructionsEstablished and maintain marine vessel file insuring documentation is prepared in an accurate and timely fashionPrepare/execute required governmental and agency documents for appropriate approvals and submission to marine vessel filesCommunicate daily with principals/customers, marine vessel’s Master, Port Authority, and appropriate governmental authoritiesProcure operation, agency, and administrative services for assigned marine vesselsExercise high quality vendor service management and cost controlMakes required trips to Immigration and Customs Office to ensure all necessary documentation is ready for arrivals and departuresPerform other related duties at the discretion of Agency Manager or other member of management teamRequirementsUniversity Degree or equivalency.Must be able to lift 50 poundsPossess a valid driver’s license and accident-free motor vehicle recordStrong communication skills and some knowledge of the shipping industryWillingness to work flexible hours, which includes evenings, weekends and other as required.Ability to work collaboratively in a team, as well as independentlyPrevious experience in the marine agency field would be considered an assetJob involves extensive walking, lifting, climbing, stooping, bending, and jumping.
