Job DescriptionAltaGas - Senior Account Manager, Distillate MarketingEnerchem, an AltaGas company, is seeking a motivated and commercially minded Account Manager to support the growth of our distillate business. This role is ideal for a technically experienced field professional who enjoys client engagement and is ready to contribute to ambitious sales goals while maintaining Enerchem’s strong, collaborative culture.This position includes field travel to support customers, understand market dynamics, and identify new opportunities.You Will:Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clientsUnderstand and articulate the performance, application, and benefits of Enerchem distillate products used in drilling, well stimulation, completions, and surface equipmentProvide technical support and troubleshooting to customers, including field-based support when requiredIdentify, pursue, and develop new sales opportunities through market research and industry engagementPromote Enerchem distillate products and support broader sales and marketing initiativesNegotiate contracts and finalize commercial agreements that deliver value for both Enerchem and our clientsGather customer feedback and work collaboratively with internal teams to support product improvement and issue resolutionPrepare sales forecasts, activity reports, and performance updates for managementMaintain accurate documentation of customer interactions, sales activity, and technical support providedCollaborate effectively with sales, operations, and technical teams to achieve shared objectivesYou Have:5+ years of experience in oil & gas field service, specifically working with refined distillates for drilling, completions, and surface equipment performanceA strong understanding of oil & gas operations and customer needs in the fieldPrevious sales experience or demonstrated experience supporting sales and marketing objectives (preferred, not required)Secondary education in chemistry or a related discipline (preferred, not required)Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skillsProficiency with Microsoft tools including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive, OneNote, and Power BIThe ability to work collaboratively across departments in a fast-paced environmentWillingness and flexibility to travel, within reason, to support urgent business needs or gather market intelligenceWhy AltaGasAt Enerchem, an AltaGas company, you’ll have the opportunity to grow your commercial skillset within a technically specialized organization that values collaboration, safety, and performance.
