- Operate excavators and dozers to perform excavation, grading, and site preparation tasks in compliance with project specifications.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections of equipment and report any maintenance issues.
- Work closely with supervisors and crew to coordinate activities and ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform routine maintenance as required.
- Adhere strictly to safety standards and best practices on all job sites.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and transport of equipment and materials as needed.
- Minimum of 3 years experience operating excavators and dozers in a construction environment.
- Valid Heavy Equipment Operator certifications/licenses.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation.
- Physical ability to handle the demands of the job and work in various weather conditions.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
- Willingness to work overtime and travel to various job sites as required.
