- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, track stock levels, and manage inventory cycles. This includes management for satellite inventory locations.
- Procurement: Identify needs, research suppliers, negotiate pricing and terms, and place orders. Understands procurement and supplier sourcing and approval policies and procedures; interacts with suppliers, staff, and management to obtain appropriate documentation and approvals.
- Supplier Relations: Build and maintain relationships with vendors, manage supplier performance, and ensure timely deliveries.
- Cost Optimization: Analyze purchase costs, negotiate favorable terms, and identify opportunities to reduce expenses.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulations, and industry standards. Responsible for observing all applicable safety requirements and reporting immediately any unsafe practices/conditions.
- Supplier Research: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, considering factors like price, quality, and delivery time.
- Purchase Order Preparation/Management: Prepare purchase orders and ensure they are processed on time and within budget.
- Order Tracking: Monitor order status and ensure timely delivery.
- Invoice Tracking: Follow up on missing invoices for PO’s where goods are received.
- Returns and Exchanges: Manage returns, exchanges, and repairs of goods.
- Inventory Audits: Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
