Keep reading to learn more!Please note Loblaw's Return to Office Policy, is 4 days in the officeTechnical Lead, SAP Platform - Brampton, ONIn this role, you will take on the position of Technical Lead for the SAP Platform Stores team, with a primary focus on ABAP and Fiori development. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-quality SAP solutions, while ensuring best practices in performance, scalability, and reliability. As a technical expert, you will play a key role in setting the direction of development initiatives, troubleshooting complex issues, and driving continuous improvement across the platform.What You’ll Do:Design, develop, and maintain SAP ABAP programs, enhancements, and custom Fiori applications to meet business requirements.Build and extend SAP Fiori/UI5 apps and integrate them with backend systems using OData services.Collaborate with functional teams to translate business needs into technical specifications and deliver scalable solutions.Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize ABAP code and Fiori applications for performance, reliability, and maintainability.Participate in code reviews and best practice implementation to ensure high-quality, maintainable solutions in SAP ECC and other SAP environments.What you Bring:Strong ABAP Development Skills – Expertise in Core ABAP (Reports, ALV, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancements, and CDS Views) with clean, optimized coding practices.SAPUI5 & Fiori Development – Hands-on experience building, customizing, and extending SAP Fiori apps using SAPUI5, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.OData Services – Proficiency in developing, consuming, and troubleshooting OData services for front-end and back-end integration.SAP Gateway & S/4HANA Knowledge – Understanding of SAP Gateway architecture, Fiori launchpad configuration, and S/4HANA data models.Debugging & Performance Optimization – Skilled in troubleshooting ABAP code, improving performance, and ensuring application stability.What Loblaw Offers YouWe offer flexibility and balance, and an environment that sets you up for success no matter where your workspace is located.Here, you will find a great team to help you achieve your goals as you help us achieve ours!
