Sr. Store Maintenance Technician

- Assist store employees in the handling of any maintenance requests and emergencies regarding HVAC, electrical, plumbing, architectural repairs, plumbing, locks, furniture and sound systems;
- Monitor incoming requests ensuring that the workload is equally distributed in between all store coordinators.
- When needed, collaborate with landlords and operation managers forehand; tasks
- Process incoming requests promptly and accordingly, and ensure that activities are consistently and concisely documented;
- Coordinate logistics around purchases, prepare and approve purchase orders, reconcile relevant billing, and execute follow-ups;
- Help and assist internal departments with various projects and initiatives in stores;
- Resolve the findings and requirements established by the Health and Safety Committee as needed;
- Communicate with other supervisors, managers, and employees at all levels to ensure commonality of purpose and direction, for the entire Store maintenance team.
- Monitor and analyze each case, work order, and technician feedback assigned to you and lead the store coordinators to mitigate issues at store level all the while ensuring reasonable costs
- Assist external resources for an effective resolution time;
- Help the store staff in troubleshooting issues/requests before deploying the appropriate resources;
- Track and follow up with their work in progress until completion.
- Be available for emergency calls outside regular office hours (in rotation with other team members);
- Other related duties as needed.
- DEC in Building Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical or Building Administration
- Minimum of 5 five years of experience in the retail industry;
- Good knowledge of purchasing methods and organizational skills;
- Strong knowledge of Excel and Word;
- Strong abilities in coordinating resources and day-to-day activities;
- Superior organizational and analytical skills with the ability to work independently;
- Ability to recognize improvement areas, offer suggestions, and resolve problems;
- Capable of handling multiple priorities.
