If the role interests you and you would like to be considered we encourage you to apply!Under the responsibility of the Plant Manager, the Health and Safety Coordinator will be primarily responsible for maintaining the implementation of activities related to the plant's health and safety program.In this role you will:Participate in the development, revision and implementation of programs, work procedures and training relating to health and safety;Support the implementation of the OSH program;Participate in changing occupational health and safety culture and act as an agent of change;Prioritize and coordinate prevention activities;Support the Director of Environment, Health and Safety in her various projects;Promote the prevention and the adoption of safe behaviours through communications and training or promotional activities;Participate in OSH committees and other safety meetings;Conduct investigations and analysis of incidents and follow-up of corrective actions (incident reports, surveys, etc.);Conduct monthly inspections;Coordinate activities related to the requirements and conformities schedule;Train new employees as part of their integration program and give all other training;Identify and analyze health and safety risks;Maintain a safe and healthy working environment while respecting the standards, laws and practices in place;All other duties related to health and safety.The perfect person will have:College diploma in health and safety, OSH certificate or equivalent;3 to 5 years of experience in Operations ideally focused in Safety;Relevant experience and knowledge of health and safety, relevant laws and regulations;Good organizational skills and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously;Sense of autonomy, responsibility and ability to demonstrate initiative;Computer skills (Office suite);Good communication skills;Good capacity to influence.COME GROW WITH US, WHERE THE GRASS REALLY IS GREENER!Not interested in this role?
