As a member of the Community Services Department, these positions will provide safe supervision and leadership for children and youth in the City of Belleville and Hastings County Housing Camp Programs with games and activities, allowing the participants to express themselves and socialize in a creative, fun-filled atmosphere.KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Standard First Aid & CPR ‘C’.
  • High Five Principals of Healthy Child Development certification.
  • Minimum of two (2) years/seasons of experience as a Junior Program Leader or equivalent experience working with children in a recreational or teaching setting.
  • Experience with program/lesson planning, design, development, and implementation of children’s, age-appropriate activities.
  • Child/youth related field of study considered an asset.
  • Valid ‘G’ Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle.
