- Conduct technical due diligence, including reviewing environmental reports, geotechnical studies, servicing capacity, planning polices, and zoning regulations to support development feasibility and planning strategy
- Identify planning and development risks and recommend mitigation strategies in coordination with internal teams and external consultants
- Coordinate with consultant teams to ensure timely completion and accuracy of all required studies, plans, and reports supporting development applications
- Prepare and coordinate planning and development application submissions, including development opinion letters, and related supporting materials
- Drive timely submission of planning applications, responses, and revisions to support the achievement of required development approvals
- Coordinate with municipalities, conservation authorities, utility providers, and other regulatory agencies on planning and approval matters
- Represent the company at municipal meetings, public meetings, committees, and stakeholder sessions related to development applications
- Diploma or degree in Urban Planning, or related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a development Planning role
- Demonstrated experience in project coordination
- Eligibility for, or membership in the Ontario Professional Planners Institute (OPPI) considered an asset
- PMP (Project Management Professional) considered an asset
