- In-depth process and product training provided by a mentored approach, product knowledge sessions hosted by the Product Manager and lunch and learn meetings.
- We house the largest inventory to better service our customers and deliver on sales commitments.
- Process and cut cable orders according to picking ticket instructions.
- Operate cable cutting machines, including reeling and coiling equipment.
- Load reels onto payout spindles and thread cable through take-up spindles.
- Adjust machine settings to ensure accurate cable lengths.
- Monitor machine operations and identify malfunctions or defects.
- Inspect cable for quality and remove defective sections.
- Record measurements and production data accurately.
- Rewind and transfer cable from large to small reels for stock maintenance.
- Track and monitor inventory in accordance with company procedures.
- Complete all required paperwork and verify order accuracy.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on machines and tools.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in warehouse, production, or general labor roles (Asset).
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Certifications in First Aid, WHMIS, or Forklift Operation are preferred.
- Basic to intermediate computer skills, including MS Office.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations for measurements and inventory.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Capable of reading and writing routine reports or job orders.
- Physically fit and able to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
