HVAC Service Technician

- Perform routine predictive planned maintenance duties and log.
- Complete work orders, deficiency reports and provide quality recommended repairs to clients within a timely manner.
- Experience installing, servicing and repairing HVAC, Refrigeration and Gas fired equipment.
- Understanding of building designs as it relates to building envelopes, HVAC, hydronic systems.
- Starting up and shutting down major building equipment seasonally.
- Handle, recover, store and document refrigerants.
- Test and repair electronic components.
- Ability to join an On-Call rotation.

- Must possess a valid 313A refrigeration certificate.
- Valid G1 or G2 Certification.
- Valid Ozone Depletion Prevention Certificate (ODP).
- 3 or more years' experience as a Journeyman HVAC Technician.
- Oil Burner Technician Certificate would be considered an asset.
- Valid 'G' Driver's license.
- Knowledge of a variety of electronic, pneumatic and DDC control systems.
- Ability to read and work from Mechanical / Electrical drawings, HVAC/R schematics, line drawings, etc.
- Always maintain a professional demeanor with fellow employees and clients.
- A team player, committed to working in a quality environment.
- Available and willing to work varying shifts, weekends and holidays as required.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and work on a ladder or scaffold at various heights.
- Able to obtain Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance.
