
Housekeeping Supervisor

- Ensuring exceptional cleanliness and orderliness of the guest rooms and suites, public areas, back-of-house areas, as well as supporting of the laundry department
- Ensure all areas of the PureClean program are executed
- These are working Supervisor positions and will require assistance in cleaning of guest rooms and public areas as required.
- Daily room inspections and ongoing support of team members.
- Maintaining supply and equipment inventories and ensuring the team has the right tools to do the job
- Reports to the Housekeeping Manager, and collaborates daily with all other departments, in particular the Front Office Team and Maintenance.
- Ensuring that Health, Wellness & Safety standards are met and exceeded, including knowledge of and proper use of cleaning and other chemicals, proper lifting procedures, etc.
- Providing daily ongoing support and training as required.
- Supporting fair and effective scheduling and ongoing coaching of the team members
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping room attendant, house person and laundry roles
- An exceptional eye for detail, with a commitment to service excellence
- Exceptional interpersonal and guest service skills for both our internal and external clients
- The initiative to identify opportunities for improvement and resolve them in a timely manner with sound decision-making skills
- Ability to work in a time sensitive daily environment with proven empowerment philosophy
- Must be health and safety focused with the ability to pull, bend, stretch reach and lift as a part of daily requirements
- WHMIS Certification and First Aid a definite asset
- Working knowledge of MS Office, Excel, OPERA or similar Property Management System.
- Must be legally able to work in Canada
