- Managing and serving as the lead Project Manager for water, wastewater, stormwater, conveyance, and general municipal engineering projects.
- Collaborate with sales teams to pre-position for upcoming projects and create proposals in response to RFPs
- Meet with current and potential future clients to review their current and future project needs.
- Providing technical guidance, senior leadership, and mentoring engineering staff to enhance our water services design capabilities.
- Being responsible for planning and execution of scope, schedule and budget for projects managed.
- Completing Quality Assurance/Quality Control reviews of key deliverables.
- Assisting Client Service Leaders with technical marketing by meeting with clients in the region.
- Participation in professional societies relevant to the industry.
- Building and maintaining positive working relationships with key decision makers in our clients' organizations.
- Perform technical engineering project work.
- Providing excellent client service that generates repeat business.
- Supporting proposal development and participating in interviews for new projects you will help deliver.
- Bachelor's Degree. 15 years of related experience.
- PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification is required (within 12 months of hire or promotion onto the Approved Project Manager list).
- Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.
- Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- P.Eng certification
- Prior experience managing municipal water and wastewater treatment and/or conveyance projects in British Columbia greater than $1m.
- Excellent communication, networking, and team building skills.
