- Assume responsibilities related to human resources management, including the full recruitment cycle, management of disability and CNESST files, and administration of applicable HR programs and policies.
- Be responsible for the payroll process for production employees, as well as absence management in the UKG and Workday systems.
- Lead the onboarding of new employees, including orientation on employee benefits programs and ABB’s health and safety policies, as well as site‑specific GFI requirements.
- Ensure proper management of employee files and maintain the integrity of HR data.
- Process system transactions related to employee movements and administrative changes to employee records.
- Generate HR reports and perform data analysis.
- Act as a key support resource in performance management and discipline, conflict resolution, absence management, and return‑to‑work programs, leveraging strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and the implementation of new HR initiatives.
- Lead or participate in HR projects in collaboration with managers, employees, and HR colleagues.
- Demonstrate alignment with ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for your actions while caring for colleagues and the organization.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Industrial Relations, or Business Administration.
- 1–3 years of experience in Human Resources (administration, labor relations, recruitment) is considered an asset.
- Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office environment and Windows.
- Familiarity with HR systems such as Workday, UKG, or similar platforms.
- Experience in HR operational functions (recruitment, payroll, compliance) is an asset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Project management experience is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Results‑driven with a strong customer service orientation.
- Bilingualism (English and French) required. English is necessary to communicate with clients outside of Quebec.
