The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geotechnical engineering, project management, and team leadership. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent technical skills and the ability to drive innovative solutions for complex geotechnical challenges.This role sits within our Mobility Business Area. We partner with our clients across the globe to design thriving and connected cities and communities that enable opportunity for all and keep the world moving. Climate change, urbanization and digitization trends are requiring today's mobility projects and systems to address an evolving set of demands from the world's growing population. We design connected, sustainable solutions that integrate existing infrastructure with new technologies, and optimize the mobility of people and goods.Role accountabilities:In this role, you will oversee the planning, design, and execution of geotechnical projects, ensuring they meet client requirements and adhere to industry standards. You will take the lead in developing and implementing innovative geotechnical solutions for a wide range of projects, including infrastructure, commercial, and residential developments. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated project solutions that align with client goals.Additionally, you will manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively, while maintaining and enhancing client relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction and foster repeat business opportunities. Staying current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices will be essential to driving continuous improvement and delivering exceptional results in this dynamic role.Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field (Master's or Ph.D. preferred)
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or equivalent
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with a proven track record of successful project delivery
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in geotechnical software and analysis tools
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

The base salary represents Arcadis' hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
