Our Valued client is looking for a Business Systems Analyst with manufacturing experience to join their team in Ottawa's West-End supporting and optimizing an ERP operations within a well-established aerospace manufacturing environment. In this role, you will collaborate with various departments to optimize our business processes and ensure the seamless operation of our systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization while leveraging your technical expertise and analytical skills.Responsibilities:
  • Act as the on-site ERP support lead during and after SAP implementation
  • Support the transition from Cincom to SAP
  • Provide Tier 3 functional support to plant users
  • Partner with Corporate IT on system configuration and issue resolution
  • Support manufacturing execution systems and ERP functionality
  • Ensure ERP data integrity through validation and process review
  • Troubleshoot system issues and escalate technical concerns appropriately
  • Develop dashboards and reporting using Excel, Power BI, and related tools
  • Support Sales Engineering, Finance, and Operations teams
  • Assist with user training and change management initiatives
  • Identify process improvements within a traditionally paper-driven plant environment
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • 1–2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years supporting an ERP system (SAP preferred; other ERP experience considered)
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (production planning, supply chain, operations, quality)
  • Comfortable working directly on-site in a plant setting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience supporting functional business teams
  • Able to navigate change management in operational environments
Technical Requirements
  • ERP system experience (SAP preferred; Oracle, Dynamics, or similar acceptable)
  • Experience supporting manufacturing or execution systems
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel (macros, data manipulation)
  • Power BI experience preferred
  • SQL knowledge considered an asset
  • Process mapping or workflow documentation experience is an asset
