Job DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?As a Lead Quality Engineering Specialist, you will be responsible for overall QE processes, methodologies, and test strategy, improvements and be accountable for driving quality by leveraging automation and artificial intelligence to improve quality through early defect detection. You will be responsible for developing and executing automation test plans (might assume planning execution accountability). for a suite of applications projects, software releases or upgrades and maintenance activities. You will lead the technical test effort and coaching junior resources on test execution and automation.We are seeking a talented and passionate Lead QE Specialist to join our team. We want vocal futurists that can advocate their vision, who will be excited about creative problem-solving as part of a cross-functional team; will obsess over writing smart, simple clean code; will tirelessly strive for the best end-user experience and will have the drive and desire to keep learning the latest development techniques.What will you do?Accountable to work with application and project teams in the implementation of defined test strategies across application lifecycle, utilizing QE processes and toolsAccountable for coverage and efficiency in test plans within area of controlAccountable for maximizing automation end to end for all testing deliverables in the portfolioResponsible for following defined processes and tools and alignment with overall QE strategy and frameworkPartner with Application Development teams to integrate quality engineering mindset/concepts within the DevOps framework/pipelineResponsible to adopt and implement the Artificial Intelligence transformation agenda related to QEResponsible for coaching, mentoring, training and day to day interaction with a team of QE practitionersDetermine the schedule and sequence of testing activities, negotiate and coordinate with squads and interfacing applications regardless timelines and commitmentsStrong communicator – able to work closely with counterparts in cross functional teams. Ability to lead and mentor QE team membersWhat do you need to succeed?Must Have:Computer Science/Engineering degree or equivalent trainingMinimum 10 years of technical experience developing and implementing test strategies and plans and managing the end-to-end process or other technical roles in Agile and Non-Agile projectsHands on expertise in a variety of test automation frameworks/tools – Robot Framework, TestNG, Junit, SoapUI, Selenium, Rest Assure, Jenkins, Maven) and script development using scripting languages (Python, Bash) , web services and API testing – REST API and SOAPExperience with CI/CD pipeline and DevOps tools like GitHub, Jenkins, HeliosTest automation vision and leadership skills for innovationStrong experience in the usage of GenAI tools like Copilot, prompt Engineering for designing and refining prompts outputs to support for QE activities,Artificial Intelligence Training and ExperienceNice to haveApplication development experienceCode inspection tool knowledge (SonarQube)Experience with Containerizations tools like OpenShift, Dockers, AWS ECSExperience using test optimization and performance monitoring tools – DynatraceWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
