This position is responsible: for performing quality checks (QC) on instruments and parts returning from the field whether from demo loan or customer return for credit; managing RMS inventory returned from the field; preparing export documentation for instruments and parts returning to the factory for repair or credit; performing instrument installations and in-house repairs.
  • Perform quality checks (QC) on instruments and parts returning from the field, from demo loan or customer return for credit
  • Manage RMS inventory returned from the field or customers.
  • Prepare RMA and export documentation for instruments returning to the factory for repair
  • Perform instrument installation / break down for in-house demos and trainings • Provide tech support for part number identification and software licensing, distribution
  • Manage FSE tools inventory and calibration in conjunction with the Quality Assurance manager
  • Perform in-house repairs / phone support for FDT / Matrix and all other mail-in devices
  • Provide logistics support for Exchange only devices • Perform other job-related duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Associate’s Degree, or equivalent, from two-year college or technical school, or three (3) years related experience and/or training.
  • Excellent basic computer skills including use of Microsoft products, including Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to communicate efficiently and effectively (verbal & written) with the team and customers
  • Ability to prioritize tasks based on daily business demands
  • SAP / CRM experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable working in a professional, hands on environment
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Thirty percent of an average workday is spent standing, walking, lifting and bending.
  • Lifting of no more than 80 lbs.
Working Conditions and Special Demands:
Travel might be needed – up to 5%
