- Support recruitment activities including job postings, resume screening, and interview coordination
- Conduct pre-screens and reference checks
- Prepare employment contracts, letters, and other HR-related documentation
- Coordinate the full onboarding process for new hires from offer through start date
- Collect, verify, and track all required onboarding documentation, including employment forms, certifications, and compliance records
- Ensure all onboarding requirements are completed within established timelines
- Assist with coordinating safety tickets, orientations, and required documentation
- Conduct new hire orientations to ensure a strong and organized start
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR systems
- Ensure proper documentation and record management
- Assist with reporting and tracking HR metrics and data
- Grant administration and related documentation
- Respond to internal and external inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Liaise with internal teams to support employee needs
- Provide general administrative support to the team as needed
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information at all times
- 2+ years of administrative experience (HR exposure is considered an asset)
- Administrative certificate or diploma is considered an asset
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable communicating with others and spending time on the phone
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A customer-service mindset with a proactive and positive approach
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
