- Provide backup support for phones and general inquiries
- Prepare and distribute HR communications
- Support recruitment activities
- Assist with onboarding employees and contractors
- Assist with semi-monthly time processing
- Ensure accurate filing across HR and payroll systems
- Support HR projects
- Track probation periods and support performance review processes
- Assist with benefits administration and WCB claims
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Work, Outlook, Teams)
- Professional communication and high level of confidentiality
- Initiative, creativity, and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Post-secondary education in HR, Business, Payroll, or related field is an asset
- Previous administrative, HR, or payroll experience is an asset, but not required
