- Review critical process data and determine effects on equipment / piping
- Develop mitigation plans and options to minimize corrosion (e.g. increase pipe diameter to slow velocity, resize drum to allow better separation, etc.)
- Manage or create corrosion control programs
- Review novel materials with Materials experts and assess for viability
- Identify degradation modes and materials parameters for use in risk assessments & RBI equipment strategy development
- Estimate a probability of failure for various degradation modes by reviewing historic inspection data, operating and service data, and industry and company guides
- Review erosion / corrosion rates and recommend follow-ups based on the inspection results
- Identify equipment operating envelope requirements to minimize corrosion
- Review site changes and identify impacts to materials degradation and inspection
- Establish piping circuits and assign EDDs to the circuits
- Review current TMLs and optimize locations and inspection frequency
- Currently pursing BSc or MSc in Engineering
- Enrolled in an engineering program from an accredited university in Canada
- Role best suited for Mechanical or Materials programs
- Must be available for a 12-16 month term

- Proficiency with Power BI and exposure with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is highly desirable.
