This is an exceptional opportunity for an organized, energetic, and empathetic individual to join us in an important support role for the entire hospital.Your role will entail:Assist the veterinary staff with various tasks and treatmentsProviding compassionate care duties, including feeding and walking patientsTechnical skills should include knowledge of patient care and restraint techniques at a minimumGeneral housekeeping dutiesEnhance the client’s experience by coordinating between the clients and members of the medical teamWhat’s required:Positive contributions to the team cultureExceptional client service skills that build trust and loyalty with clientsStrong communication skills and ability to work with a dynamic and diverse teamCompassionate and nurturing attitude when providing care to clients and patientsAbility to remain calm and efficient in stressful situationsPositive outlook and enthusiasm for learning and building new skillsInitiative in carrying out assignments and working independently1 year of VA Experience minimum and/or a Veterinary Assistant (VA) program certificateSchedule: As our clinic is open 7 days a week, this position will include weekend shifts with a varying schedule depending on clinic needs.
