Shaft Supervisor
Esterhazy, SaskatchewanOur client, a leading organization in the mining sector, is seeking a Shaft Supervisor to lead and coordinate all shaft, hoist, and loading pocket activities. This role is critical to ensuring planned production tonnages are achieved safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively. If you have a hands-on leadership style and a passion for safe mining operations, this position offers the chance to make a real impact on operational excellence.PERKS AND BENEFITS:Competitive compensationComprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverageWork in a safety-first culture with strong leadership and teamworkCareer growth in a large, stable, and continuously evolving organizationBe part of a team that directly supports safe, efficient, and high-performing mining operationsSHIFT SCHEDULE: 554 ROTATIONRotation: 5 consecutive days on, 5 consecutive days off, 4 consecutive days on, then repeatsTypical workday: 12-hour shiftsWHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:Chair shaft safety meetings and implement on-the-job training for cage tenders and hoistmenInspect shaft, hoist, and loading pocket areas to ensure safe and compliant operationsCoordinate hoisting of ore to the surface to minimize delays to mine and surface departmentsPromote and enforce safety regulations, ventilation standards, and good housekeeping practicesPlan and coordinate repairs to shaft equipment to maintain continuous operationRecord and approve all maintenance work in accordance with Mines Regulations logbooksKeep employees informed of company and mine policy changesWHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:Your leadership and coordination skills ensure safe, efficient, and compliant shaft operations5+ years of hoisting experience in mining operationsKnowledge of Maximo for maintenance and work order trackingProficiency in Microsoft Office for reporting and documentationAbility to train, supervise, and support teams to maintain operational readinessStrong attention to safety and regulatory compliance in all activitiesABOUT US:TPD is a leading workforce solutions provider with a mission to help individuals succeed by providing access to opportunities in jobs, careers, and professional development.
