- Design, implement, and evaluate orientation and ongoing educational programs that align with best practices and regulatory standards.
- Lead and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and clinical skill demonstrations for new hires and existing team members.
- Oversee clinical and other departmental learning activities, providing guidance, mentorship, and feedback to enhance nursing competencies.
- Coordinates and assists in the delivery of Infection Prevention & Control training.
- Participate in quality improvement and operational planning activities to enhance service delivery across care communities.
- Support the development and evaluation of learning plans
- Coordination and implementation of resident vaccine clinics.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required and in good standing with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience working in a senior care environment
- Certificate of Gerontological Nursing (Canadian Nurses Assoc.)
- Travel required - automobile with current insurance. (Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle with current insurance) – Reimbursement for mileage as per Sienna’s policy
