Our team delivers electrical construction, maintenance, and specialty solutions across a wide range of industrial sectors, including Utilities, Mining, Oil & Gas, and Technology. With expertise ranging from 24V to 230kV, Shermco is a trusted partner for complex and critical electrical systems.Responsibilities:Key ResponsibilitiesConstruct, alter, repair, and test industrial electrical systems and componentsInstall and maintain low, medium, and high-voltage equipment in industrial settingsWork around energized power and control equipment in accordance with safety standardsMentor and coach apprentices to promote skill development and safe work practicesSelect appropriate materials and ensure compliance with the Canadian Electrical CodeMaintain accurate records of work performed and equipment servicedEngage in Shermco’s Positive Safety Reporting and client field auditsComply with Shermco’s Health, Safety, Personnel, and Drug & Alcohol policiesPerform other duties that you are assigned and trained to do Qualifications:QualificationsRed Seal Interprovincial Journeyperson Certificate requiredExperience in industrial and/or commercial environments is an assetIndustrial safety training and certifications considered a plusFluent in English (written and verbal)Valid driver’s license and clean abstract requiredWillingness to travel for out-of-town projects as neededEQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYERShermco is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
