  • Decontamination of all medical/surgical instruments, equipment.
  • Sterilization of all medical/surgical instruments, equipment and utensils.
  • Assembly of equipment as required.
  • Specific duties will be based on assignment.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of grade twelve (12) or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of a Medical Device Reprocessing course required.
  • Current certification through the CSA or MDRAO (less than 5 years) required, recertification through the CSA or MDRAO required every 5 years.
  • Previous experience in an MDR setting is an asset.
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal required.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job with or without accommodation (i.e. long periods of standing and/or walking).
  • Demonstrated reliable attendance, punctuality, availability and performance.
