I'm in need of a skillful, reliable, and compassionate senior health care provider to support my elderly father in our home environment, who not just fulfills the responsibilities of the role but also exhibits genuine care, is proactive and very detail-oriented. The key responsibilities would include, but are not limited to: - Assisting with daily living activities like bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and movements - Providing help with mobility and maintaining safety during transitions - Administering medication reminders and well-being monitoring - Cooking simple, nutritional meals and helping with feeding if needed - Conducting light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, maintaining cleanliness and tidying up - Creating a pleasant companionship through engaging in meaningful conversations or activities - Observing and notifying about any changes in physical or cognitive health The ideal candidate would have: - Previous experience in senior care or home health care, either professionally or personally - A high sense of responsibility, reliability, and punctuality - Excellent skills in dealing with sensitive situations with empathy and patience - The physical capability to assist with mobility and transitions - Clear communication skills in English - Relevant certifications like PSW, CPR/ First Aid are a plus The position requires someone who values professionalism, consistency, respect, and can foster a safe and serene environment supporting independence wherever feasible. In return, we will provide a car for use on the job. While a driver's license isn't mandatory, you should be comfortable with, or have experience in handling Incontinence (diapers), Paralysis, and Quad/ Paraplegic Care. This will be a live-in, full-time role that requires working between 40 to 50 hours a week, with a schedule from Monday to Sunday, including mornings, evenings, and nights. The preferred start date would be 7th April 2026.
