- Dust, wipe, and polish furniture, fixtures, ledges, windowsills, and baseboards.
- Clean and disinfect washrooms, locker rooms, and tenant areas, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, partitions, and dispensers.
- Restock washroom supplies and remove waste from all designated areas.
- Spot clean walls, glass surfaces, partitions, doors, and stainless steel fixtures.
- Vacuum carpets, spot clean stains, and wipe cloth furniture as scheduled.
- Sweep and mop floors, stairwells, and handle spill cleanups promptly.
- Clean medical spills or floods using proper PPE.
- Maintain equipment before and after use; complete pre-use checks.
- Follow assigned cleaning routes, use appropriate tools and color-coded cloths.
- Respond to radio calls and follow communication protocols.
- Use iOS-based tools to track tasks and ensure compliance.
- Maintain a clean and organized stock room and janitor cart.
- Attend required training and complete other duties as assigned.
- Attends all required health & safety training
- Works in a safe manner and follows safe work instructions and assists in prevention
- Complies with H&S regulations and company safety policies and procedures
- Engages and assists passengers in the terminal as necessary & attends I Am Toronto Pearson Ambassador session, or any relevant training related to assisting passengers
- Does not operate any equipment without prior training and completes the provided equipment pre-check prior to any use
- Uses personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
- Reports any unsafe conditions, hazards and all workplace injuries to supervisor or manager
- Participates in the early and safe return to work process as per our RTW policy
