- Develop and maintain an understanding of the College of Nursing and College of Medicine strategic direction, audiences, and goals of digital content including websites and internal communications channels
- Ensures appropriate stakeholders are consulted to contribute to the development and execution of digital communications plans aligned with the colleges strategic priorities
- Drafts, edits, and distributes digital content such as regular website updates, news stories, social media content, and internal communications channels
- Consults with the College of Medicine communications team to prepare and implement a plan with prioritized timelines identifying website sections to be created, redeveloped, or eliminated, then guides the development and creation of updated website content alongside the identified stakeholders
- Coordinates with the College of Medicine communications team and appropriate stakeholders to migrate and update content for new internal communications channels
- Adheres to branding and style guidelines in all communications
- Communicates and acts in a respectful and professional manner, collaborates effectively, abides by policy, and contributes to a positive and productive work environment
- Trains College of Nursing and College of Medicine stakeholders to independently manage and keep internal communications channels up to date once they are in place
- Undertakes related duties, as assigned, consistent with the nature of the position
- A bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism, or a related field
- One to three years of experience in digital communications and marketing
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content management systems, such as Hootsuite
- Proven knowledge of marketing and communications best practices and ethics
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and analytical skills
- Effective organizational skills
- Cultural awareness and professionalism in all communications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and communications software tools, such as Cascade and Canva
- Prior experience in a post-secondary environment considered an asset
Status: Term 12 months with the possibility of extension

Salary: The salary range, based on 1.0 FTE, is $53,091.00 - 82,954.00 per annum. The starting salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
