- Strong grasp of the politics that drive Canadian policymaking.
- A Bachelor's degree (minimum) in a related field of study (political science, public affairs, government or law).
- A minimum of 5 years of related professional experience working in either Federal/Provincial government, for an industry or trade association, a private/public business, or non-governmental organization involved with directly dealing with the Canadian government.
- Excellent working knowledge of the legislative and regulatory processes in Ottawa and at provincial level.
- Ability to register as a lobbyist at any level of government.
- Familiarity with Consumer-Packaged Goods, Food and/or Beverage sector.
- Proven experience in issues and reputation management and project management.
- Very strong interpersonal, written and presentation skills successfully applied in advocacy.
- Effective relationship building and collaboration skills.
- Ability to create and deliver PowerPoint presentations and other educational tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and risk judgment.
- Very strong ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment and simultaneously manage multiple priorities and projects.
- An affinity for and alignment with Red Bull's corporate culture.
- Travel 30-40%
