- Provide strategic direction and hands-on leadership for fostering collaboration, creativity, and innovation as you attempt to provide simple solutions for technically complex functionality.
- Conduct and synthesize user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and improve existing product experiences.
- Develop and maintain logical content structures that enhance usability and optimize workflow efficiency.
- Create clear wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to communicate design solutions to development teams and stakeholders.
- Contribute to the evolution and maintenance of Nokia's design system for desktop and mobile, ensuring design consistency across products.
- Work closely with designers, developers, and product managers to build user-centred digital solutions within Agile processes.
- Present your work, explain your design rationale, and incorporate feedback from peers and project stakeholders.
- Stay updated with design trends, tools, and emerging technologies relevant to user experience.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in UX design, with demonstrated success delivering impactful UX solutions.
- Solid understanding of user research techniques, usability testing, and translating data into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping platforms.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and present ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working in Agile or iterative development environments.
- Experience designing for technology-focused products, especially in networking, telecommunications, or enterprise domains.
- Familiarity with AI-related tools and an interest in leveraging emerging technologies to enhance the user experience.
- Analytical skills for interpreting user feedback and product data to inform design improvements.
- Design accessible user experiences in accordance with WCAG guidelines, ensuring products are inclusive and usable for people of all abilities.
- Experience working with teams across different time zones, demonstrating adaptability to asynchronous workflows and varying schedules.
