Job DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?In this role you will perform front-line client services, including answering questions from custodian banks, brokers, investors and/or customers.What will you do?Maintains client files, performing data entry and account processing duties (e.g. verifying accuracy of transactions)Performs other clerical duties as necessary, such as preparing reports requiring specialized procedures, answering phone calls, bookkeeping, completing routine forms and maintaining records and filing, etc.Communicate with customers, employees, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain product information, and address complaintsCompile, copy, sort, and file records of business transactions and other activitiesCompute, record and proofread data and other information, such as records or reportsMaintain and update filing, inventory, mailing, and database systemsWhat do you need to succeed?Must haves:Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or finance, plus 4 years customer service experienceExperience in financial services industryExperience in data entryExperience dealing with clients by phone, resolving issues and explaining servicesBilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly serve our clients and do business with RBC partners and/or employees across Canada with English and French speaking needs.Attention to detail and critical thinkingAbility to work independently and manage one’s timeAbility to keep information organized and confidentialNice-to-have:Advanced user proficiency with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, spreadsheet/financial accounting skills, and any other related accounting software is an assetKnowledge of financial systems and associated procedures is an assetWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
