Are you comfortable working on rotational shifts?Then you might be interested to learn about this role "Color Matcher/Technician".Armor People Link is looking for an experienced Color Matcher for a Brampton based client that deals with manufacturing of plastic food bags.
This company is located at Queen and Rutherford Intersection.A Color Matcher/ Technician is responsible to mix the color pigments to get the desired results by comparing the sample of colors, checking their weights, using the thinners and drying agents. Anyone who has worked around dyeing leather or coated fabrics, or has experience in cosmetics making or as mixer operator can also apply for this role.The candidate will be doing all 3 shifts as below: (BIWEEKLY ROTATIONAL SHIFTS)
1. Morning Shift: 7 am-3:15pm at $23.25/hour
2. Afternoon Shift: 3pm- 11:15pm at $23.25/hour +$ 0.75 as afternoon shift premium
3. Night Shift: 11:15pm-7:15am at $23.25/hour + $1.25 as night shift premiumPLEASE NOTE- *The client is looking for candidates who are available to work full-time and are not attending school. The candidate MUST be available to work on a bi-weekly rotating shift schedule.*

Transporting ink and other materials between the rooms
Reading specs from dockets to identify ink colors
Assisting Printing Press Operator in pre-press color matching.
Maintaining cleanliness of equipment and area
Adhering to all Health and Safety & Environmental Regulations.
Requirements:
WHO IS OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:Anyone who has completed the high school diploma
Prior experience working with Solvents, GLU's and Colors is required
Prior manufacturing experience with exposure to conveyor/assembly equipment or 1 year experience in the ink/Color industry is an asset
Press experience is an asset
Must be eligible to work legally full- time in Canada without the requirement of PR support by the employer
Prior experience of working different shifts is an asset (preferably night shifts)
Ability to lift up to 50lbs ( with a partner) for bag drop tests and stand for long periods

SELECTION CRITERIA:

Police clearance check is a MUST
